Chez Castillon from Michael Wilson on Youtube.
There are six en-suite guest bedrooms in the main house, each traditionally French in style, with views either of the garden, or of Rue Victor Hugo, with its boulangeries and flower shop. All rooms have large, comfortable double beds.
Tucked away in the corner of the garden is our gîte, with three further double en-suite rooms. These have a chalet-feel, and are cool and airy with white-washed wooden floors and bright, zesty colours.
All the bedrooms have tables or desks for you to work at, but you might prefer the course room, on the ground floor of the gîte. Lessons are often held here, and with large French doors opening on to the garden, it’s the perfect place for creative brainstorming.
You’re equally welcome to work in the house: find a quiet corner in the library, or set up in the salon. Writers can often be found reading through manuscripts while lying on a lounger, curled up in the shady basket chair or rocking gently on the swing seat by the pool.
Wherever you choose to be – with others or on your own – you’ll find Chez Castillon the perfect place for productivity or quiet reflection.
